Heavy loads can make the rear of a vehicle sag and throw off the way it drives. The Timbren Rear Suspension Enhancement System uses two Aeon hollow rubber springs rated for 8,600 lbs of capacity to keep the ride level and stable. These progressive springs get firmer as weight increases so steering, braking, and handling stay consistent when you’re towing or hauling gear.

Bumps and uneven pavement can make any trip tiring when the suspension is working hard. The hollow rubber design of the Timbren springs absorbs road shock before it reaches the frame, helping to dampen bounce and reduce harsh jolts. This cushioning also helps protect the factory suspension from bottoming out, extending its life while improving ride comfort under load.

When a gust of wind or a sharp turn pushes the vehicle off balance, each Timbren spring reacts on its own to keep that side planted. The independent action reduces body roll and sway so you stay in control through corners or when carrying off-center loads. The result is a more stable ride whether you’re on the highway or maneuvering through tight spots.

The Timbren system replaces the factory bump stops with custom brackets that bolt onto each frame rail above the rear axle. There’s no drilling, no airlines, and no compressors to maintain—just straightforward hardware that installs easily with basic tools. Once mounted, the 1" clearance above the axle lets your factory suspension work normally with light loads, then smoothly engages the Timbrens when the weight comes on.

I installed the Timbren front and rear suspension systems along with new Bilstein shocks on all four corners. The ride is somewhat firmer but not uncomfortable but the handling is much better and I will trade some ride comfort for better handling any day. The sway was greatly reduced. The shocks were not really necessary but I could not be certain of their condition. I would recommend the Timbren suspension. I liked that I did not have to drill the frame and the installation was fairly easy.
Thanks for the fast delivery and they work a treat
Austin did an amazing job helping me secure this order. Great follow up and showed genuine care.
Great product, I installed Sumu Springs on the front of my 36 ft. Holiday Rambler last year and it help the front a great deal. I am sure these Timbren bump stops will add greatly to the sway and ride Issue, very easy to install Did the complete job in 50 minutes. Cant wait to get her on the road.
It was very easy to order this item from Etrailer. The item was delivered earlier than expected in strong packaging. Now for the Springs. I chose these because of the no drill install and reading a lot of reviews. I placed the springs on the rear axle of my 2018 Georgetown GT5 on the Ford F53 20,500lb chassis. It took around 20 min on my back but was easier than expected and I am 74. I have driven 1200 miles on the springs and I am more than happy with them, worth every penny. Side wind and passing trucks was almost eliminated, almost.

Still going strong.I still feel that they were a great choice.
The system is working great. The only problem I had were the included bolts. They weren't threaded long enough and, therefore, couldn't be used. I had to use the old bolts and nuts to finish the installation.

Made a substantial difference in handling. Im a happy camper.
Worthwhile investment. Easy and simple install. Adds stability to keep RV from wanting to tip over. Same as adding a torsion bar. Needed to jack up the body, to install and after installation, Timbrens are engaged with no clearance either on top or bottom. I would purchase again if needed.

Product installed easily. Certainly added to the rear stability of the RV. Minimizing side to side rolling. Would recommend
Installed Timbren on my 2007 coachman Mirada , Ford F 53 chassis (2005) with a panhard bar , tight fit with the bar brackets. I spaced the Timbren away from the frame with large flat washers which gave a more comfortable clearance to brackets. Some brake line and vent hose adjustments and a hole to drill for a Factory electrical part mount . I gained 1 1/4 “ trailer hitch height , very satisfied.

The Timbren install and the panhard bar are the greatest handling improvements money can buy , the ride and handling have been improved beyond my expectations ! No wondering , no sway the motorhome drives as it should - safe and secure to the road !
I can’t express the improvement in ride and handling on our 36’ Fleetwood, it’s like I’m driving a different coach. Semis passing no longer push me across the road, stopped the swaying and body roll our coach has had since day one. These should come from the factory. Best upgrade so far!!! If you’re on the fence BUY THESE!!!
does everything that it says, works wonderfull, highly recconmend
Excellent product! I have a 2019 Fleetwood Bounder 35K. When I bought it I loved the coach but when I drove it two hours home I didn’t like the drive. It was very stressful just to get to 65mph both hands on the wheel and puckeredevery time a truck passed. It would push off the road and was tricky to keep between the lines. I immediately started looking for suspension upgrades. I installed the sumo springs on the front and made a huge difference. I then wanted to do the back but didn’t want to drill into the frame to install the sumo springs in the back so seen the Timbrens and they had high ratings as well. They were easy to install and came with spacers not shown in the pics. Good and bad on the spacers as it was a smart idea to add them as a lot of people have complaints about the Timbren hitting the brake line. The spacer worked great to offset the Timbren just enough to miss the brake line. Bad is that if you don’t need or don’t use the spacer the shoulder bolts are too long and you run out of thread before it tightens up. Over all still an easy installation. Took for a road test and wow what a great combination! I was trucking down the road 65 mph driving with one hand and tracking amazing. The drive, the sway and over all handling was night and day! I truly don’t understand why the coaches don’t come factory with this type of upgrade but thanks to the companies that make them and etrailer for selling and having such great videos and customer service!
Easy install and notable improvement in handling and ride. I installed these along with a front pair of Sumo springs.
Super easy install. Took maybe 20-25 minutes. I installed these on a 2022 Thor Challenger 37FH. I had read reviews about people complaining about the brake line bracket in the way. Really not a big deal, cut it off with a rotary tool, grind smooth and paint for rust protection. Road test is next.
Package had been torn open, and the box was empty except for bolts. I have cameras and they were not stolen from my house, so they must have come up missing during the delivery process

Hey Constance. That is not an experience you should be having. I am going to get this taken care of for you.
Installed these with only one issue, which was on the driver side rear axle. The axle had a ABS sensor cable bracket on the axle that need to be readjusted and trimmed down. The BumpStock was hitting this bracket on one edge. So actually, it's not and exact fit. But this issue is really a FORD placement issue of that cable. So just be aware that some extra work may be needed to install them. Passenger rear side install perfectly. Next is the drive to see how much better the coach drives, heard great reviews on that
Easy install great performance of product little costly but good product
Ordered Timbren from etrailer.com on Monday and received them today (4 days). I installed them on the rear of my 2016 Fleetwood Southwind Class A motorhome. Install took an hour with a short break between sides. I’m 67 years old and it was a hot day. So I thought the install went really well. A couple of tips: Use a cordless impact wrench with deep well socket. Also I used wood shims to hold Timbrens in place while securing the bolts through the frame. A quick test drive revealed a smooth ride on the straight away. What was immediately apparent was during turns the was a noticeable decrease in body sway. I have 2 piece Sumo springs on the front. I feel like this is going to be a great combination and looking forward to hit the road!
I wasn't able to position it squarely over the axle Because I would have had to trim some quarter and steel to get it to go where it belonged.
Just installed the Timbren suspension stabilizers on the rear of my Newmar Canyon Star 3911 motor-home. The installation was easy and simple. As the video showed, just remove the old bump stops and install the Timbren's. They are significantly larger than the stock bump stops. After having installed the Sumo Springs on the front and the Timbrens on the rear, the ride is so much better. No more swaying back and forth when a big truck passes or a crosswind. I highly recommend this combination since there is no drilling into the frame of the motor home and you do not have to remove the tires either.
Along with sumos in the front the Timbrens on the rear have significant improved my class a coaches ride. The Timbrens made a slightly noticeable improvement over just the sumos in the fronts when it comes to handling bumpy roads. The Timbrens however made a very significant improvement in body role. The coach handles turns better and passing trucks on the highway. I recommend the sumo front, timbren rear combo to significantly improve overall ride, comfort, handling and road noise. On my 2020 f53 the install was more challenging than just remove factory bump stops and bolt on. I had the re route a brake line sensor, trim the sensor bracket and make some spacing plates to get me a little better clearance from the sensor bracket on the axel. etrailer was great to work with as always.
Best investment for suspension so far!! Had wind, semi’s and large dips in road sway our 2015 Bounder all over the road. With the timbrens installed took care of almost all of that! Big dips, Bounce one time, done. Semi’s pass no issue, Wyoming winds cuts right through!

Working great so far!
Amazing!!! Install was less than 1/2 hr. My Miramar handles great. No more rear sway. I drive with confidence no matter what the driving conditions are.
I found myself less fatigued on long trips!!
E-Trailer was a pleasure to deal with. Highly recommend E-Trailer and the Timbrens.

It’s been a year, still satisfied and loving my Timbren install. 2017 Miramar
The Timbren Rear Suspension Enhancement System for my 2015 F53 arrived on time with no parts missing. Installation time was about an hour and a half that includes rewatching the etrailer instructions video. I installed Timbrens on the front last year and was happy with the result, less lateral sway and very noticeable decrease in nosedive on tight corners. I haven't completed the test drive for the rear but hoping for a little more improvement in sway and wind gust control. My RV never drove horrible, I enjoy trying upgrades to see the results personally. etrailer as always did a great job communicating the status of the order and providing quality parts at a competitive price. Thanks Jerry B. outstanding job
I had the Timbrens installed on the rear of my 32 ft motor home. We drove almost 5000 miles on our vacation. They took out all the sway in turns and windy conditions and improved the ride overall. They were well worth the money.
My F53 was like driving a waterbed down the road. With the Timbrens, it’s a different vehicle. Should have installed them years ago. Etrailer is my go to for anything trailer. FAST shipping and prompt responses to questions or concerns.

Very well, took a lot of the swaying from side to side when making turns.
